As a woman who isn’t young, nor middle aged, but who happens to look younger than I am. I have literally lost track of the times women in leadership roles have acted hostile towards me, where unsupportive and prevented me from getting hired at the end stages of interviewing. How do you suppose we just IGNORE that. To be frank. Women have held me back in my career far more than men have. And no I can say I’m pretty average lookin I dress and act professionally and I’ve never so much as flirted with a male co worker. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT IS ALSO RAMPANT. YET NO ONE DISCUSSES IT.
