Rants About Tech and Life

Great article. When I was conducting research what was most consistent and this pertains to a VR fitness app.

While some participants did report experiencing nausea, the most concerning was the inability of awareness concerning the amount they were exerting themselves physically during ethnographic studies. Most often prior to their immersion in the work out of course few questions were asked more so the behavior was observed.

A disconnect and decrease in precision of fine motor skills and from 3 participants in my small sample. I observed more instances of vertigo.
As expressed verbally and definitive movement alerting to a lack of adequate balance as they felt it while using VR

What I did observe from my study and limited resources was a surprising amount of participants had a delay in adjusting not to the immersion but back into reality itself comparatively.

All subjects were tech early adopters and first time users of VR headsets. Only 2 participants reported having no symptoms.
